Love aviation? So do we.

Av8r Capital Group exists because we love airplanes, building things and the people who keep aviation alive. We're building a family of aviation businesses around aircraft manufacturing, propulsion, builder support, distribution and the preservation of proven designs.

As we grow, we're always interested in meeting people who want to be part of that work. You don't need to wait for the perfect job posting. If you have skills, experience, ideas or simply a genuine passion for aviation, introduce yourself.

01 — People we want to meet

Builders, mechanics, engineers, storytellers.

These are the kinds of people our companies need as they grow. The list is a starting point, not a fence.
  1. 01

    A&P mechanics and IAs

Maintenance, inspections, assembly, technical support, builder assistance, aircraft work and flight-test support where appropriate. Not every maintenance role needs an IA.

  2. 02

    Aircraft builders and fabricators

Wood aircraft construction, sheet metal, welding, machining, fabrication, assembly, finishing and general aviation manufacturing.

  3. 03

    Engine builders and technicians

For ThrustCraft Performance: engine assembly, mechanical and component work, dyno work, installation, testing and development.

  4. 04

    Engineering and CAD

Aeronautical and mechanical engineering, structures, CAD, manufacturing drawings, technical documentation, product development and compliance documentation.

  5. 05

    Writers, media and marketing

Copywriters, technical writers, photographers, videographers, graphic and design people, social media — people who can tell an aviation story clearly. This one is intentional.

  6. 06

    Operations, sales and customer support

Small aviation companies need people who understand builders, pilots and long-term customer relationships — and who like answering the phone.

  7. 07

    Students and interns

Engineering, aviation, manufacturing, business, media and marketing students who want to see how airplanes and engines actually get made.

Small aviation companies need people who can wear more than one hat. If you think you can help us build aircraft, engines, companies or community, we'd still like to hear from you.

Don't see your job title? That's okay.

02 — EAA chapters & builder communities

Experimental aviation exists because people share knowledge.

We want to work with EAA chapters, builders, mentors and local aviation communities on aircraft builds, educational projects, events, demonstrations and ways to get more people actually building and flying airplanes.

Approach us about

  • Chapter builds
  • Aircraft projects
  • Educational builds
  • Displays and events
  • Builder programs
  • Collaborations

Mini-Max USA has worked with builders for four decades and runs a builder-assist program at the Niles facility. If your chapter is thinking about a build, that is a good place to start the conversation.

We also steward the ETLB builder forum at IsonAircraft.com and its decades of Mini-Max, Hi-Max and AirBike builder knowledge. If your chapter is building one, that is where its builders are.

03 — Schools, STEM & aviation programs

The next generation has to come from somewhere.

High schools, colleges, trade programs, STEM organizations, aviation programs and engineering clubs: we would like to talk about how students can get their hands on real airplanes and real engines.

Conversations we welcome

  • Educational builds
  • Factory visits where appropriate
  • Internships
  • Projects
  • Aviation education
  • Builder and community programs

No program is promised here; every one of these starts with a conversation about what would actually work for your students and our shop.

04 — Community

Fly-ins, events and projects that need extra hands.

Fly-ins, aviation events, EAA projects, youth programs, historical preservation and community builds sometimes need extra hands. If you would like to be part of that side of aviation, tell us.

Our businesses are for-profit companies; production work is paid work. Community involvement here means genuine community activity — events, outreach, preservation and education.

05 — Partnerships

Build something with us.

Not every good opportunity fits inside an employment application. We work with manufacturers, suppliers, engine companies, designers, aircraft builders, EAA chapters, aviation businesses, content creators and people developing products that belong in the light-aircraft market.
  • Manufacturing partnerships
  • Product development
  • Distribution
  • Suppliers
  • Flight testing
  • Engineering collaboration
  • Dealer relationships
  • Educational programs
  • Builder programs
  • Content and media
  • Events

If you've got an idea that makes sense together, we'd rather have the conversation than miss it.

06 — Introduce yourself

Tell us who you are and what you'd like to do.

This is not an application. It is an introduction — from a person, a chapter, a school, a supplier or a potential partner. Pick the area that fits best and tell us a little about yourself or your organization.

This opens a message in your own email app addressed to info@av8rcapital.com. Nothing is submitted to or stored on this website.

Other doors into the family.

  1. 01

    Acquisitions

For aviation companies and designs that need a future — founders, heirs and owners who want the airplane to keep flying.

  2. 02

    Opportunities

For airports, properties, communities and strategic opportunities that could give our businesses room to grow.
